A broke horse is one that responds to your seat and leg at all times.  It is a horse that wants to do the task at hand.  It is a horse that will load in the trailer with our refusing and one that will stand tied quietly.  A broke horse will negotiate obstacles on the trail. He doesn't spook and he never refuses.  He is your riding partner.  He will look at a new situation with a calm mind.  A broke horse is ready for what comes up next and he likes his job.
